What started out in 2013 as a practice contest for the Dutch barbecue teams, grew into a KCBS Licensed Contest with 15 teams from 3 different countries. In 2014 the the Cook-Off became a KCBS Sanctioned contest, that means that the results of the contest counted towards the worldwide ranking, KCBS Team of the Year, the draw for the Jack Daniels World Championship in Lynchburg, TN and the American Royal.
Also did the results count towards the Dutch Low and Slow Barbecue title.

For 2015 we continue to organise one of the coziest barbecue contests of the season. And we’ve added a dessert category for all of you with a sweet tooth out there.
There is a 42 team limit so if you want to compete, hurry up and sign in.

The BBQ Society Cook-Off is an American style barbecue contest. The teams will compete in four categories, chicken, ribs, pork shoulder and brisket. There is a winner in every category and the team with the best overall score will be the Grand Champion.

Just like previous years we strive towards a 100% KCBS certified group of judges.
