BBQ Society Cook-Off, October 18-19, 2014

What started out last year as a practice contest for the Dutch barbecue teams, grew into a KCBS Licensed Contest with 15 teams from 3 different countries.

We’ve raised the bar for 2014. The 2nd Annual BBQ Society Cook-Off will be a KCBS Sanctioned Contest. This means that the results will count towards KCBS Team of the Year and the Grand Champion is entered in the draw for the American Royal in Kansas City and the Jack Daniels World Championship in Lynchburg in 2015.
And the Dutch Team that has the highest accumulated score at the Tony Stone Low & Slow BBQ Competition and the BBQ Society Cook-Off will be crowned Dutch Champion Low & Slow BBQ!

The BBQ Society Cook-Off is an American style barbecue contest. The teams will compete in four categories, chicken, ribs, pork shoulder and brisket. There is a winner in every category and the team with the best overall score will be the Grand Champion.

Just like last year we strive towards a 100% KCBS certified group of judges.
